I believe in angels
I have a recital tomorrow (Tuesday).
My pianist thought it was on Wednesday, and has commitments he can’t possibly get out of on Wednesday.
So last night, with less than 48 hours to go, I found myself without an accompanist.
I phoned a pianist I met by chance a few weeks ago.
He is playing for me tomorrow.
Today we rehearsed for almost three hours.
I don’t even have the brain power to write proper paragraphs.
But I do believe in angels now.
And guess what else?
We have just moved into the loveliest house I’ve ever been in.
It’s gorgeous.
So I’ve not fallen off the face of the planet. I just wish I could invent extra days for when I need them…
Hey!Happy New House! Happy house warming, or whatever it is one says on these occasions. And well done for netting yourself a replacement pianist - they don’t grow on trees, you know. Glad you’re having fun.

Glad you’re having fun :-) Break a leg at the rectial (not literally obviously, not sure anyone could pull off modelling in a cast).
